0“Your LoveWorld” prayers get a sixth phase
After five successful weeks of “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris,” the prayer series has been extended for an additional week.
The sixth phase of the prayer week starts tomorrow, May 18th and ends on Sunday, May 24th. The prayer sessions will be available for live streaming on all LoveWorld networks every day at 7 PM GMT+1.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s Your LoveWorld prayer weeks have proven to be very popular. The first week started after the Pastor hosted a Global Prayer Day against the Coronavirus on March 27th and has from then on been extended every week.
Last week was a little different, though, as it only consisted of three days and was called Global Fasting and Praying Days.
The Global Prayer Day in March has watched live by 3 billion believers from all over the world, while the Pastor’s Easter Sunday Service in April reached 3.25 billion people.
Men ought always to pray
On a number of occasions, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has stressed the importance of praying.
“You have got to pray. Jesus said: ‘Men ought always to pray.’ Pray! There are things that we must make sure do not happen. And guess what, when they do not happen, we are all going to be happy and thank God they did not happen. Of course, there are going to be people who will say: ‘Oh, they were not going to happen,’ but listen… Eventually, they will happen,” he said when he announced the three Global Fasting and Praying Days.
“Our prayer gives us the allocation of our time for us to utilize as God intended rather than to lose it to Satan. We have an allocated time,” the Pastor continued.
When the days of fasting and praying ended, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome thanked his followers for fasting, telling them how essential it is.
“I want to thank you for fasting and praying with me and with all of us around the world. I believe it was a great blessing to all of us. Fasting is important and it helps with focusing our spirit and dealing with things that are important, that you need to deal with. Especially when it is inspired by the Holy Spirit for us to do so.”
WordFest continues to inspire
With so many prayer services, one would think that Pastor Chris Oyakhilome had enough on his plate, but that does not stop him.
On May 4th, he initiated WordFest, which is a special festival of meditation on God’s word.
Every day until June 7th, existing and new subscribers to the Pastor Chris Digital Library can get free access to divine messages from Pastor Chris Oyakhilome through the WordFest program.
Subscribers will be able to watch, listen to and meditate on a specifically selected message every day, as each day has a new theme.
Along with the daily message comes a study guide, which simplifies the meaning of the divine words.
According to the LoveWorld Nation, WordFest’s purpose is to build up and strengthen the faith of God’s people during this time of adversity that the world is facing.
