0Pastor Chris declares January to be the Month of Celebration
When January came knocking on the door last week, the LoveWorld Nation welcomed the Month of Celebration, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome recently revealed.
It happened at his monthly Global Communion Service on January 3rd.
The Month of Celebration is the first month of 2021. During Pastor Chris’ New Year’s Eve Service on December 31st, he named the new year the Year of Preparation.
“2021 is the Year of Preparation. In Heaven, preparation is being made, and I look… And all over the world, angels are out preparing people, helping with the word of God all over the world. I saw them working and working and working. I saw that the things around them did not matter. They were not distracted by the activities around them. They were just busy preparing people,” he said and continued:
“Why are they ignoring the things around them? They said that this is more important. ‘We are getting them set.’ Why? The Lord is coming soon. I looked, and behold, in the world of darkness, preparations were taking place. What are they preparing for? They are preparing for war because they know their time is short,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome explained.
Pastor Chris names every month
Every year and month have a theme in the LoveWorld community. Last year’s theme was the Year of Perfection, which led the congregation through the Month of Songs, the Month of Knowledge, the Month of Continuing Fasting and Praying, the Month of Opening, the Month of Prayer, the Month of Productivity, the Month of Wisdom, the Month of Proclamation, the Month of Praise and finally the Month of Thanksgiving.
In the Year of Perfection, the entire world was greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, which is still raging, and Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and his Christ Embassy congregation have found peace and comfort in more events than ever before.
The first theme of the Year of Perfection was February’s Month of Songs, where the Christ Embassy congregation was lifted to a higher spiritual level through music.
After the Month of Songs came March’s Month of Knowledge, which marked the time where the coronavirus in earnest got a grip on the world.
The pandemic forced people and societies across the world to adjust their lives to a new reality consisting of social distancing, working from home and lots of alcogel.
At the end of March, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome teamed up with Pastor Benny Hinn for a Global Day of Prayer against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The show was a huge success, attracting three billion online viewers.
Prayers and praise in the summer
In May, the Month of Opening, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome hosted a three-day Global Fasting and Praying session.
June, which was the Month of Prayer, included even more prayer weeks and another Global Day of Prayer.
Then came July, the Month of Productivity, where the popular “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris” broadcasts continued, and the LoveWorld Nation announced an online Social Media Week.
The Social Media Week received praising words from Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, who called it “very powerful, enlightening and empowering.”
Shortly after the Social Media Week ended, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome announced that August would be the Month of Recovery.
He and Pastor Benny Hinn ended August with a five-day-long Praise-A-Thon.
Pastor Chris’ busy end of the year
In September, the Month of Wisdom, the LoveWorld Nation started building a LoveWorld Medical Center in Nigeria, and in October, the “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris” prayer series continued, while the second season of WordFest was initiated.
During the Month of Proclamation in October, the pastor continued his “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris” series.
The Month of Proclamation also saw the commencement of WordFest 2.
WordFest was a special festival of meditation on God’s word, and the concept was that existing and new subscribers to the Pastor Chris Digital Library could get free access to divine messages from Pastor Chris Oyakhilome through the WordFest program.
Subscribers could watch, listen to and meditate on a specifically selected message every day. Each day had a new theme.
According to the LoveWorld Nation, WordFest’s purpose was to build up and strengthen the faith of God’s people during this time of adversity that the world is facing.
In November, the Month of Praise, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome invited thousands of people from all over the world to Nigeria to participate in several LoveWorld events.
Those included the International Pastors’ and Partners’ Conference, the International Media Connectors’ Conference, the LoveWorld Exhibition, the International Teens Pastors’ & Leaders’ Conference, the IPPC Presidential Awards and LIMA Awards.
On December 1st, Chris Oyakhilome hosted another Global Day of Prayer, and on December 7th, he celebrated his birthday.
Towards the end of the Month of Thanksgiving, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome broadcast his Christmas Eve Service, the New Year’s Eve Service and FALA.
