0Pastor Chris presents first Global Day of Prayer of 2022
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has scheduled his first Global Day of Prayer of 2022 to take place from Friday, March 25th at 6 PM GMT+1 and 24 hours onwards.
The prayer day will be aired on all LoveWorld tv channels and digital platforms.
At the Global Day of Prayer, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is expected to pray for the nations of the world.
The upcoming prayer day is the ninth of its kind. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome initiated the first one with Pastor Benny Hinn in March 2020. It was their response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
People from all over the world tuned in and prayed with the two ministers, who have since then continued to add more Global Days of Prayer.
Two years of Pastor Chris’ global prayers
At the Global Day of Prayer in September 2021, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome reminisced upon the March 2020 session.
“As many of you would remember, we started this in March 2020. 27th of March… We began leading in prayer, and Pastor Benny Hinn and I led that particular session. We began this journey of prayer as the Lord was leading us, and I shared a lot of things with you about the day in which we are living,” the pastor said and continued:
“I showed you from the scriptures what was going on and how to respond to effect changes. I told you what the plan was. I told you about the plans of the wicked one. I told you that Satan was behind his evil work. The work of darkness.”
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome also told the global congregation about how God had made us conquerors.
“Your name is exhorted above all. You are exhorted above all… Because you are greater than all. Thank you for making us your own. Thank you that we belong to you. Thank you for giving us your spirit. Thank you. You have made us more than conquerors, and you conquered the whole world for us,” he said.
“You gave us the victory. And now, in your mighty name, we subdue to nations. We subdue to nations. We subdue to evil spirits of darkness. We subdue them. We silence them by the authority of the name of the Lord, Jesus. We subdue them,” the pastor added.
Global Day of Prayer brings unity
A year after the first Global Day of Prayer, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome commemorated it in March 2021.
“A year ago, precisely on the 27th of the month of March 2020, Pastor Benny Hinn and I led a global prayer meeting because we realized that what was happening in the world and nations had been seized, gripped with fear and did not know where to turn,” the pastor said and continued:
“They had no idea what was going on. Families were afraid, men and women were afraid, children were afraid, governments were afraid, and some government leaders called it an unknown enemy. They said, ‘how can we fight this unknown enemy?’ Well, at the time when we called for that prayer program, ministers around the world joined us by the millions.”
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome emphasized the unity that people felt during the first Global Day of Prayer.
“God’s people all over the world joined us from so many churches and ministries around the world, including groups that often did not speak to each other, but there was a unity of spirit that we all experienced. 27th of March 2020. And because we prayed, the spirit of God gave us guidance,” he said.
Pastor Chris’s Healing Streams around the corner
While the Christ Embassy congregation waits for the March 2022 Global Day of Prayer, they can experience Pastor Chris Oyakhilome heal people suffering from various diseases at the Healing Streams Live Healing Services.
The healing session takes place from Friday, March 18th to Sunday, March 20th.
You can register for the event on the Healing School’s website.
At the Healing Streams Live Healing Services session, the pastor is expected to heal people who are in pain in his tv studio and from the comfort of people’s homes.
The pastor will instruct the ones at home to put one hand on the tv screen while he is praying and the other hand on the place where they need healing.
As the Healing Streams Live Healing Services session is only days away, expectations for it are sky-high.
“The Live Healing Services will be amazing, and I am so excited because I know that tremendous miracles will happen. Many people who connect will get healed and they will have testimonies. I look forward to hearing these beautiful testimonies. I will be hosting virtual centers, and I know many have registered by now and are going to connect during that time. I encourage everyone to register and be a part of this coming program,” Lydia Sobayen from Kenya says.
