0Record: 78 million ministry leaders join the Global Ministers’ Classroom with Pastor Chris
When the Global Ministers’ Classroom with Pastor Chris ran this weekend, it was with a record-breaking attendance of 78 million ministry leaders from more than 200 countries and territories.
The highly anticipated program began on Friday, April 29th and finished 24 hours later on Saturday, April 30th.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome had invited pastors, ministers, apostles, evangelists, ministry leaders, youth pastors and other people working for the church to the free annual event, which took place online.
The purpose of the Global Ministers’ Classroom with Pastor Chris was to boost the faith of the participants and the way that they minister.
According to the organizer of the event, the International School of Ministry, attendants of the event could expect the following:
- Increased focus on the mission and purpose of the church
- Strategic insight for the end-time harvest
- Networking with millions of ministers of the gospel from around the world
The International School of Ministry is part of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s Christ Embassy ministry and was founded in 2007.
Since then, it has trained thousands of people in becoming pastors through its many online and on-site workshops, courses and training sessions.
Every year, the work of the International School of Ministry culminated with the Global Ministers’ Classroom with Pastor Chris in the spring.
Pastor Chris emphasizes praying – especially with others
During the Global Ministers’ Classroom with Pastor Chris, the pastor especially talked about prayer.
“He says: ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer.’ Was your church a house of prayer? If it was not, it is time. Make it a house of prayer. Make your church a house of prayer. If it is God’s house to be a house of prayer, and as a house of prayer, no one will shut it down. It cannot be shut down. Make your church a house of prayer, then it will be God’s church,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome said and added:
“Prayer is one place where you have got to be tough. Do not lazy out in prayer. Sometimes it helps to get others to join you in prayer. It helps to have others that you are praying together with.”
In connection with his emphasis on prayer, the pastor revealed that a Global Prayer and Fasting session will begin on Monday, May 2nd and last until and including Sunday, May 8th. It is scheduled to take place from 6 AM to 6 PM every day.
He also shed light on the upcoming month of June.
“Every year… It has been so now for several years. The month of June is a Month of Prayer, and throughout that month of June, we schedule praying… We are putting more time into prayer in the month of June, because the month of June is preparation into the second half of the year. There are things to learn in the Bible,” he underlined.
