0Pastor Chris at Your LoveWorld Specials: “Do not put your trust in the promises of men”
In the Your LoveWorld Specials season 7 phase 4, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome discussed how God views all the current events of our time.
There was global streaming of the program on all LoveWorld platforms, such as CeFlix and the Live TV App, from Wednesday, May 17th, to Friday, May 19th.
The event was a platform where believers could connect, receive profound teachings from the scriptures and experience the overwhelming power of the love of God.
With an unwavering focus on the word of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome imparted spiritual insights that ignited faith, brought healing and inspired individuals to live victorious lives.
Pastor Chris: “We must fulfill that promise”
On the first day of the Your LoveWorld Specials, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome opened the event by emphasizing the significance of following the word of the Holy Spirit.
“I am thankful that the Lord gave us the insight of the Spirit to His word, to His truth. I cannot stress enough how important this is,” he said.
“You cannot depend on your little mind in order to live your life every day. There has got to be more to life than the ordinary thinking process. Even when you are relying on the so-called ‘experts,’ you cannot rely on all that is human to live a successful life,” the pastor added and continued:
“With this kind of understanding, we should be grateful that we have the Holy Spirit. Think about the words of Jesus when he said, ‘When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth.’” (John 16:13 KJV)
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome concluded his point by saying, “The Lord has given us the responsibility to become savers and redeemers and delivers to all the people in our lives. We must fulfill that promise.”
Let the Holy Spirit lead to the path of prosperity
On the second day of the Your LoveWorld Specials, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome reminded participants that they are the extension of the ministry of the Lord.
He then went over a Bible quote from the Book of Isaiah, which shows how Isaiah managed to make a prophecy in the name of Christ.
It says: “And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.” (Isaiah 53:9-10 KJV)
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome explained that the Lord has prolonged His days through believers. The plan of God shall prosper in His hand through the church. This message of salvation began with Him, according to the pastor.
Throughout the event, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome elaborated on how Jesus showed that whatever you have acquired is what you need to move to a place of power and of prosperity.
He also mentioned a Bible quote that says: “And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, and what shall we do? And he said unto them, ‘Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.’” (Luke 3:14 KJV)
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome explained that it is not the increase in your wage to provide you with prosperity. Whatever your wages are, that is your seed.
“God knew that the spiritual principle is what will promote you. The promotion comes from the Lord. Therefore, do not put your trust in the promises of men. Always trust God and the Holy Spirit and let them lead the way on your divine path to prosperity,” the pastor stated.
