Just around the corner: Pastor Chris’ Global Communion Service

As October, the Month of Proclamation, comes to an end, it is time to look forward towards November.

Every month, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome announces a new theme of the month, and that is what is on his schedule this Sunday.

On November 1st at 4 PM GMT+1, Pastor Chris will reveal November’s theme, and as he does that, it becomes time to wave goodbye to the Month of Proclamation.

Chris Oyakhilome presented October’s theme with the following words:

“This month is the Month of Proclamation. It is so powerful, and I am going to explain to you… Now, in simple terms and contexts of our message for this month, a proclamation is an affirmation made public,” Pastor Chris stated during the service.

He then referred to Hebrews 13:5-6.

“Let your conversation be without covetousness and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”

Chris Oyakhilome then explained the significance of the Bible verse in the Month of Proclamation.

“That is a bold affirmation, and I said that a proclamation is an affirmation made public, which means that this month, what God wants you to do is to make affirmations. He had said so that we may boldly say… What has He said about your health? What has He said about your prosperity? What has He said about your life? What has He said about you? What has He said about your future? Remember that our very salvation is based on affirmation,” he said.

Busy weekend ahead for Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

The Christ Embassy President has, once again, had a lot on his plate during the Month of Proclamation.

He has gathered LoveWorld members from all over the world in virtual prayers through phase six and seven of his widely popular “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris” season two.

Furthermore, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome kicked off the second season of WordFest, which culminates with a WordFest Extravaganza this weekend – Friday, October 30th to Saturday, October 31st.

WordFest is a special festival of meditation on God’s word, and the concept is that existing and new subscribers to the Pastor Chris Digital Library can get free access to divine messages from Pastor Chris Oyakhilome through the WordFest program.

Subscribers are then able to watch, listen to and meditate on a specifically selected message every day, as each day has a new theme.

Along with the daily message comes a study guide, which simplifies the meaning of the divine words.

According to the LoveWorld Nation, WordFest’s purpose is to build up and strengthen the faith of God’s people during this time of adversity that the world is facing.

You can sign up for the Pastor Chris Digital Library and take part in WordFest here. Lots of believers have already joined the online event and are sharing avatars of their participation on social media, using the hashtag #WordFest2.

The first season also culminated with a 24-hour live broadcast called WordFest Extravaganza with Pastor Chris and some special guests. Testimonies and divine messages were also part of the show.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome: Prayer is not a sign of weakness

What will happen in November, and what the month’s theme will be, only time will tell.

This year, in the Year of Perfection, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has, so far, led his congregation through the Month of Songs (February), the Month of Knowledge (March), the Month of Continuing Fasting and Praying (April), the Month of Opening (May), the Month of Prayer (June), the Month of Productivity (July), the Month of Recovery (August) and the Month of Wisdom (September).

Throughout the year, the Christ Embassy leader has led several Global Days of Prayer against the coronavirus, which has claimed more than one million lives worldwide so far.

The first one was on March 27th where Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and Pastor Benny Hinn gathered three billion online viewers.

Following the successful prayer day, Chris Oyakhilome launched his “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris” prayer series, which has been extended ever since.

The most recent prayer week ended at the beginning of September.

The series has been a place for LoveWorld believers to seek comfort during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, bringing joy, happiness and hope into the many locked down communities around the world.

In June, the Month of Prayer, the Christ Embassy president hosted another Global Day of Prayer and stressed the importance of praying.

“The reason why He invited us to pray is because He intended to answer. Jesus taught us how to pray. From the scriptures, we learn about prayer. Prayer by the prophets, prayer by the apostles of Jesus. Prayer is not a sign of weakness. Prayer is our faith talking to God,” he said.

The most recent of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s Global Days of Prayer was held on September 25th.

A new one is slated for December 1st.
