0Pastor Chris at Global Ministers’ Classroom: “When you are the center of God’s will, there will be no struggle”
From Friday, June 2nd, to Saturday, June 3rd, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was ministering at the ISM Global Ministers’ Classroom. The event was broadcasted live to over 100 million ministers from different parts of the world.
The Global Ministers’ Classroom began on Friday, June 2nd, and was concluded with a special plenary session with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome on Saturday, June 3rd. It was streamed on platforms such as LoveWorldSAT and many others.
Pastors, ministers and other church workers from around the world participated in the program and benefited from multiple powerful teachings.
Pastor Deola: “God has given you a special place”
At the beginning of the Global Ministers’ Classroom, Pastor Deola Phillips spoke about embracing the healing streams.
“We are sharing the presence of God with so many people from around the world. We understand that wherever the streams go, life goes, for wherever God has given you,” she said.
“You must remember that as a minister, God has given you a special place and an opportunity to be a point of healing; a point to spread the power of God, a point to bring many into this healing grace,” she added and continued:
“Every time the healing streams will go, according to the scriptures, the fish will gather there. That means people will gather there for salvation.”
At the Global Ministers’ Classroom, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome also touched upon the significance of positioning oneself in the center of the will of God.
“What I love the most in my life is to be in the center of the will of God. That is because that is where it rests. I was asked once by a participant, ‘How do you work from a position of rest?’ That always happens by being in the center of the will of God,” the pastor said.
“When you are at the center of the will of God, there will be no struggle, no pushing, no pulling. You will be just there, just happy. And then everything will work out accordingly,” he added.
Pastor Chris: “You should read the word like it is God talking to you”
In the grand final of the Global Ministers’ Classroom, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome concluded his final thoughts on the discipline of ministering.
“The average or ordinary theologian who just wants to theologize about God. Do not do that. Instead, you should read the word like it is God talking to you. It is the word of God. You must approach the word with the understanding that this is God talking to you,” he said.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome then asked: “Do you remember what Jesus said? ‘Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. (John 15:3 KJB)’ So the word sanctifies you. ‘Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.’ (John 17:17)”
“John did it. The word is not only true, but the word is also truth. That means the word is the standard for deciding what is true,” he declared.
