Pastor Chris declares February to be the Month of Possession

At the Global Communion Service on Sunday, February 5th, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome declared February to be the Month of Possession.

“In February, the Month of Possession, you will combat her inheritance to your possession by the power of the Holy Ghost,” the pastor said as he presented the theme.

“It was already yours, but now we enter it. Now we take possession of it by the power of the Holy Ghost. The power of the Holy Ghost shall slay every giant. Every resistance shall be destroyed. The power of the Holy Ghost will break every barrier. This is the Month of Possession. Give God praise,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome added.

Looking back at Pastor Chris’ January

In this past month, the New Year’s Eve Service with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was broadcasted live on all LoveWorld tv channels and internet platforms.

2023 was declared to be “the Year of the Prolific Church.”

Viewers throughout the world were given three instructions for 2023 by the pastor:

  1. Prioritize the ministry of the Spirit: “He wants to talk to you and teach you. He is the wisdom of God, and he is the voice of God that guides you. Listen to Him.”
  2. Prioritize the word of God: “Let the word fill you abundantly. You have got to study it, give attention to it, have it in your heart.”
  3. Use the name of Jesus: “The word says that if you want to see your life grow quickly and “bigly,” you need to obey it. You would be amazed at the changes that would take place.”

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome also held a 7-day Global Prayer and Fasting program. It took place from Monday, January 9th, till Sunday, January 15th.

Donations through foundations

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s foundations also made donations at the beginning of the year.

In partnership with the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International (COFI), the Future Africa Leaders’ Foundation (FALF) donated 500 million Naira to the Chief Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library on Tuesday, January 3rd.

On New Year’s Eve, Former President Olusegun Obasanjo received the 2022 winners award from the Future Africa Leaders’ Awards at the library.

During a press briefing while presenting the winners of the Future Africa Leaders’ Awards 2022, Pastor Ifeoma Chiemeka, COO of LoveWorld Inc., mentioned how the library serves as a national archive for the preservation of documents and materials as a historical, touristic and academic center.

Nigeria and other African countries established the library to enhance transparency and accountability, deepen democracy and engage citizens.

According to Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, support for its further development is necessary to make it useful in the future.

According to Pastor Ifeoma Chiemeka, COFI has been a significant contributor to the development of Africa.

Over the past ten years, the foundation has identified over a hundred young people with the potential to be remarkable leaders in their communities and countries through the Future Africa Leaders’ Foundation (FALF).
