Pastor Chris declares May to be the Month of Victory
At the latest Global Communion Service, which was held on Sunday, May 7th, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome declared May to be the Month of Victory.
“This month of May is our Month of Victory. We have victory on every side in the power of the Holy Ghost,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome declared.
He then went over the scriptures by quoting Deuteronomy 20:1 (KJV), which says: “When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and sees horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the Lord thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.”
The founder of Christ Embassy then shared his interpretation.
“This is what happens when you go out against your enemy, and then you see horses and chariots and many people that are outnumbering you,” he stated.
“Why do you ask? Because with them is the arm of flesh, and with us is the spirit of the living God,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome explained.
“He has told us that whatever is part of God is victorious over the world. In this month especially, we will walk in victory by the power of the Holy Ghost. You must only see victory; you are victorious” the pastor added.
Pastor Chris: “The place to be is in the center of the will of God”
Throughout the Global Communion Service, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome blessed the audience with his wisdom and his thorough interpretations of the will of God.
“There is so much that the Lord has in His plan for us. The place to be is in the center of the will of God. It is the most important thing in life. We must discover His will and live by it,” he said.
The pastor then mentioned all the programs that the LoveWorld ministry hosted in the month of April. He mentioned the ReachOut World Extravaganza Live event in which believers had the opportunity to spread the word of God worldwide.
“Everything that we do with the Lord comes through our acts of prayer and faith. As it has been said before, praise is the highest form of prayer. Let us ensure that we never stop praising the Lord,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome explained.
The pastor elaborated on this point by saying that when you study praise in the Bible, it is actually a prayer – a prayer of praise. According to the pastor, believers must therefore learn to praise God with their voice and with everything they have.
“In prayer, your words have power in the realm of the spirit”
At the May Global Communion Service, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome also reminded believers that Jesus said that the Holy Spirit will guide them into all truths. Therefore, believers must pray accurately.
“Pray for your nation, country and city. In prayer, your words have power in the realm of the spirit. There are people in the world who use their words and their resources to harm others. We can use the mighty name of Jesus to break the power of Satan over the lives of men,” the pastor said.
