0Pastor Chris: “Fight of faith is a conflict between earthly circumstances and spiritual realities”
Not long ago, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome deconstructed the following Bible verse:
“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.” (1 Timothy 6:12).
In his analysis, the man of God said that not many people understand what it means to fight. He made it clear that he was not talking about literal physical combat but rather the fight of faith.
“The fight of faith is the conflict between our earthly transient temporal circumstances and our spiritual realities,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome said.
“It is the unleashing of our faith on the rebellious circumstances of the time to compel changes to correspond with our stubborn faith proclamations. It is not a fight with the devil; it is the fight in your heart to overcome the challenges you face in life, and it is a fight you must win,” he added.
Pastor Chris: “Walk by faith in the victory that Christ wrought on your behalf”
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome continued to explain that the Apostle Paul called it a good fight because it is highly regarded and you win. When he told you to claim authority and fight the good fight, he told you to hold onto the word of God, maintaining your confessions in the face of staggering opposition, according to the pastor.
“An adversary is working on things and trying to ensure that things do not fall into place for you. The world is hostile to your faith and the kingdom of God,” the Christ Embassy founder stated.
“Jesus said, ‘…be of good cheer; I have overcome the world’ (John 16:33), and because He overcame the world, you must keep the world in that position with your faith. That is the real fight. You are not trying to overcome the world; He already did. So, you walk by faith in the victory of Christ on your behalf,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome added.
The man of God explained here that no matter where you are, you are triumphant; you know it, and you insist on it. What others consider impossible; you can accomplish.
“It does not matter what you are currently faced with; whether it concerns your health, finances, business, job, family or academics, you say, ‘I am a victor in the Name of Jesus! I cannot fail. All I think is winning, and I only win, in the Name of Jesus,’” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome declared.
“Walk in the glory and strength of Christ and with the boldness of the Spirit. Take advantage of His grace and the power of His might as you unleash your faith against rebellious circumstances and compel them to align with your stubborn faith proclamations,” he added.
On a final and important note, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome instructed believers to confess the following to themselves: “I enjoy the fullness of the same life that Jesus did. My life is immune to illness, disease, lack of money and failure. It is a life filled with honor, triumph, achievement and excellence.”
“Having embraced the transcendent life in Christ Jesus, there is nothing of the devil that can remain in me. I have triumphed over the earth and am a member of the divine nature,” he added.
