Pastor Chris: “Through your prayer, God has a right to intervene in men’s situations”

The man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, recently blessed us with a 7-day Global Prayer and Fasting program, which took place from Monday, January 9th till Sunday, January 15th.

The 7-day prayer and fasting event with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is an annual event that is organized by Loveworld Inc., also known as Christ Embassy, which is a Christian organization founded by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

It was the first global prayer and fasting event of the year 2023, “the Year of the Prolific Church.”

On the first day of the Global Prayer and Fasting program, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began the event by saying: “Thank you for the honor and privilege of prayer. And all around the world today, our hearts are turned to you in prayer. Thank you for your word; thank you for the hope we have in your word; thank you. Praise God!”

He continued by saying: “No matter how Satan tries to distract us, we shall never forget who we are. We do not fight with flesh and blood or with people in the classroom; they are too weak. We shall only deal with people in the spirit realm. We evangelize and have meetings so we can raise their spirits. Remember to just pray in the spirit – continue to bless the lord and thank him.”

At the end of the insightful week, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome emphasized the following:

“Through your prayer, God has a right to intervene in men’s situation. There are things that will happen to people because of the sins of their parents, their grandparents, their great-grandparents, because of the sins of those in their nation or because of their own sins. There are many things that will happen to people because of one thing or the other. Which means they are legally Satan’s charge. But when we pray, God sees fit to intervene.”

A look back at past Global Days of Prayer with Pastor Chris

For many years now, participants have been encouraged by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome to pray and fast for a specific number of days, during which they focus on their relationship with God and seek His guidance for the coming year.

The event has usually included daily teachings from Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and opportunities for participants to connect with one another and pray together.

In past years, while celebrating the events of the Global Prayer and Fasting program, many pearls of wisdom were preached by the pastor.

One of his notable statements through the years was: “We are praying and fasting to regain our rights which are consistent with the Bill of Rights, and also, we are praying against the decrees of darkness to force us to live in a world of the beast before his time.”

As guided by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, God’s people offered prayers to restrain man’s power over the world through evil and violence. The body of Christ prayed fervently to regain their God-given rights in accordance with the Bill of Rights and against the decrees of darkness that forced the church to live in a world controlled by the beast.
