0“Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris” returns today
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s popular prayer series, “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris,” takes to the airwaves again today, Monday, February 14th.
The broadcast will be shown live on all LoveWorld tv channels and digital platforms every day at 7 PM GMT+1 until and including Friday, February 18th.
This will mark the second phase of the fifth season of “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris.”
The first phase aired a month ago from Wednesday, January 12th to Friday, January 14th.
During that phase, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome told his worldwide congregation to consider if they belong to Jesus or to this world.
“The forces that are at play in this present hour are not having a game show. You have to make a decision whoever you are, wherever you are. You have to make a decision about where you really belong. Do you belong to Jesus, or do you belong to this world?” the pastor asked.
“And by the way, when I say ‘world,’ I want you to know that I am talking about this world and its system. In referring to the world as the Earth, it belongs to Jesus, including every human being in it. Even though many of them are rebels, He owns them. Because according to the scriptures, He bought the whole field,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome added.
Pastor Chris: “Jesus paid for everybody”
The Christ Embassy founder then went on to talk about Jesus being our savior.
“He paid for everybody. He is the savior of the world, and He gave His life for every man. All that ever lived before Him – from Adam – and all who were to come after His death, burial and resurrection. He paid for the salvation of all,” he stated.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome also highlighted the importance of the Holy Spirit.
“I love the words of Jesus. Thank God for the Holy Ghost. Without the Holy Spirit, there is so much that we would never know. We would be at the mercy of those who claim to know something when in fact they do not. But Jesus told us that the Holy Spirit, our teacher, will be inside us,” he explained.
Pastor Chris about Jesus and the Holy Spirit
During the service, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome made several remarks about Jesus.
“The government of Christ, the power of the name of Jesus has continued. Make no mistake we are in the winning team,” he said.
“Jesus said, ‘The peace that I give you; is different from the world. The world’s peace is only in words,’” he added.
The pastor then went on to connect Jesus and Satan.
“The only way Satan gets to run the world is when we are out of here. He was defeated by Jesus,” he stated.
“You have not asked God for anything that exhausts His ability. He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly and much more than we can think or imagine,” he explained.
Later in the service, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome again spoke of the Holy Spirit.
“Interestingly, unlike men of the world in history, absolute power corrupts absolutely, but the absolute power of the Holy Spirit is incorruptible. It purifies and births hidden mysteries. Trust in the truth,” the pastor underlined.
First big event in the Month of Order
The new phase of “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris” will be the first major event of the congregation in February after Pastor Chris Oyakhilome named it the Month of Order.
It happened at the Global Communion Service on Sunday, February 6th.
“This month God wants you to bring order into your life, rearrange your priorities and put God first because He is putting you first,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome said at the service.
“Bring order into your life, bring order into your home, bring order into your work, bring order into your finances, and the Lord will guide you with His wisdom,” he explained and added:
“If you use this month to set things in order, the rest of the year will fall into place as God has chosen for you.”
Looking back at the Praise Night
In January, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome not only hosted the “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris” program but also a Praise Night and the Healing School Online Prayer Conference.
At the Praise Night, the pastor explained the difference between honoring and praising God and humans.
“When we honor God, we say that we glorify God. When we celebrate men, we do not say that we celebrate them. The terms are different. So, we can dance in celebration of men. We can clap, applaud in celebration of men. So, in a sense, what you are doing is that you are praising them for what they have done or represented. So, you are praising them in a sense. But when you praise God, you do not, say the same things. You offer thanksgiving,” he said and added:
“You do not dance to God the way that you dance to men. It is not the same. You can dance to men in celebrating them. You can applaud them. You do not applaud God.”
